Weed Assistance Program

Keeping up with weeds is hard work, and for some of our neighbors it just isn’t possible anymore. The City of Holbrook’s Weed Assistance Program helps residents who are elderly or living with a disability, and who can’t afford to hire someone to clear their yard.

Know someone who needs help? You can nominate them using the same form below. Just pick “Someone I know” on the first step and we’ll reach out to them.

How it works

  1. Fill out the short application below. It takes about 5 minutes.
  2. Community Development will call you to set up a short interview at City Hall so we can see if you qualify.
  3. If you’re approved, the City will schedule the weed work at your home.

Help is based on need and available resources. If you can afford to hire someone, we ask that you leave this program for the neighbors who can’t.
