Recreation Coordinator I – Community/Tourism Special Events

Coordinates community programs, tourism initiatives, youth recreation activities, and special events for residents and visitors. Manages event planning, facility scheduling, vendor coordination, marketing, budgeting, and community partnerships to support engaging programs and enhance quality of life within the City of Holbrook.

Seasonal Parks Maintenance Technician

Assists with the maintenance and upkeep of City parks, sports fields, landscaping, and public facilities to ensure clean, safe, and enjoyable community spaces. Performs grounds maintenance, litter control, irrigation monitoring, and equipment operation while supporting daily Parks Department operations and public events.

Sanitation Technician

The City of Holbrook is hiring a full-time Sanitation Technician to assist with solid waste collection and sanitation services throughout the community. This position includes operating collection vehicles, collecting trash and yard waste, delivering containers, and helping keep city routes safe and clean. Applicants should be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions. A Class B CDL is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Chief Treatment Plant Operator

Oversees and performs the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of the City’s wastewater treatment plant to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service. Supervises staff, monitors systems, and maintains equipment to protect public health and meet regulatory standards.
