The Legacy Of The Orphan Trains
Join the Holbrook Public Library on Wednesday, August 6 at 5 PM for “The Legacy of the Orphan Trains,” a one-hour multimedia program featuring live music by Phillip Lancaster and Alison Moore, a video montage with archival photographs and interviews of survivors, and a dramatic reading of the 2012 novel “Riders on the Orphan Train” by award-winning author Alison Moore. Designed for all ages, this event aims to engage audiences, inform, inspire, and raise awareness about this little-known part of our history.
