Lewis Subdivision residents: please read this.

Due to the potential for flooding in and around the Lewis Subdivision in Holbrook, residents are being advised to move to SET status under the Ready, Set, Go! emergency preparedness model.

An evacuation order has NOT been issued at this time.

Conditions may change, so please use this time to prepare in case an evacuation becomes necessary.

What SET status means for you:

• Be alert. Monitor weather conditions, emergency alerts, and official announcements for updates.
• Prepare to leave. Gather essential items, medications, important documents, and emergency supplies.
• Prepare your family. Make sure everyone in your household knows what to do if an evacuation becomes necessary.
• Plan for pets and livestock. Make arrangements to move animals quickly if needed.
• Fuel your vehicles. Keep them fueled, accessible, and ready to go.
• Know your routes. Identify safe routes away from areas that may flood.
• Stay informed. Be prepared to act immediately if evacuation instructions are issued.

Flood safety reminders:

• Never drive through flooded roadways.
• Do not walk, swim, or play in moving floodwater.
• Water levels can rise quickly and unexpectedly.
• Avoid low-lying areas, washes, and roads prone to flooding.
• Turn around, don’t drown.
