DESCRIPTION:The Holbrook City Council is accepting Letters of Interest for two vacant positions on the Planning and Zoning Commission. \nQualifications: \n\nMust be a resident of the City of Holbrook\n\nThe vacant positions are to be appointed by the Mayor of Holbrook with the consent of the Council to fill the term ending October 15\, 2030. \nIf you are interested in applying for the position of Planning and Zoning Commission Member\, please submit a letter of interest to the City Clerk no later than noon on November 10\, 2026. A qualified applicant will be appointed at the Council Meeting on November 18\, 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Lewis Subdivision residents: please read this. \nDue to the potential for flooding in and around the Lewis Subdivision in Holbrook\, residents are being advised to move to SET status under the Ready\, Set\, Go! emergency preparedness model. \nAn evacuation order has NOT been issued at this time. \nConditions may change\, so please use this time to prepare in case an evacuation becomes necessary. \nWhat SET status means for you: \n\nBe alert. Monitor weather conditions\, emergency alerts\, and official announcements for updates.\nPrepare to leave. Gather essential items\, medications\, important documents\, and emergency supplies.\nPrepare your family. Make sure everyone in your household knows what to do if an evacuation becomes necessary.\nPlan for pets and livestock. Make arrangements to move animals quickly if needed.\nFuel your vehicles. Keep them fueled\, accessible\, and ready to go.\nKnow your routes. Identify safe routes away from areas that may flood.\nStay informed.
